Hamilton Men's Watches

Hamilton watches are 123 years old to date, making it one of the oldest watch brands in the world. The story of Hamilton starts in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and it finds its way to the Swiss city of Biel – one of the world’s great watchmaking capitals. By 1912, Hamilton had released its first line of pocket watches called “The Watch of Railroad Accuracy”. Hamilton had set out to solve a real world problem that had plagued the railroad industry due to accidents occurring because of the varying times different trains had. Just prior to the start of WW1, Hamilton became a supplier to the US armed forces. This was repeated again for WW2, but this time Hamilton was forced to close its retail operations because it had the daunting challenge of producing 1 million timepieces.
